From 1973 through 1997, more than 35 million legal abortions occurred." from the Alan Guttmacher Institute whose "mission is to protect the reproductive choices of all women and men in the United States and throughout the world"--clearly not a pro-life group. |

We acknowledge that God created man in His image and likeness. |

We believe that life begins at conception, as evidenced when the unborn John the Baptist "leaped for joy" in his mother's womb when the Virgin Mary approached. |

We affirm the sanctity of all human life and believe that it should be protected and defended from conception to natural death. |

We still hold the same belief upon which this country was founded: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." |
|
We condemn any form of violence in the name of preserving life. |
